Graham Partners, a private investment firm focused on investing in businesses with advanced manufacturing technologies, innovative product development capabilities, and strong growth potential, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Paradigm Packaging (“Paradigm”), a leading rigid plastic container manufacturer serving the high-growth nutritional and pharmaceutical sectors of the healthcare market. Operating as one platform investment, Paradigm joins Scandia Plastics (“Scandia”), a Graham Partners portfolio company that designs and manufactures blow molded bottles, containers, and light industrial parts, as initial members of Graham’s niche market and regionally-focused blow molding platform.

Graham Partners has longstanding industry expertise and deep operational resources within the plastic packaging industry. In 2012, Graham Partners acquired Scandia after identifying an opportunity within the blow molded plastic packaging market to build a successful mid-sized blow molder. The acquisition of Paradigm is an important step forward in Graham’s strategic plan for the platform. Paradigm’s strategically located national plant network, which serves a diverse group of industry leading customers, expands the platform’s geographic footprint and provides access to new customers in high-growth end markets. Additionally, Paradigm utilizes a broad array of advanced technologies and processes, which will enable the platform to offer innovative products and solutions spanning the blow molding spectrum.
