Christopher Lawler
Managing Principal

Chris joined Graham Partners in 1999. Chris, along with the other Managing Principals, shares responsibility for all major aspects of Graham Partners’ investment process, including investment sourcing, structuring, and exiting, as well as working closely with portfolio companies to build lasting value. He also serves on Graham Partners’ Investment Committee.

Chris has primary oversight responsibility for DTI and Desser. He also has coverage responsibility for the aerospace/defense industry sector. His past and present board directorships include Atlas, Desser, DTI, Dynojet, Schneller, Strata, and Western.

Prior to joining Graham Partners, Chris worked for NationsBanc Montgomery Securities (now Bank of America Merrill Lynch) in its Financial Sponsors Group. Previous to NationsBank, he worked for First Fidelity Bank (now Wells Fargo) and for Hong Kong Shanghai Banking Corporation in its Commercial Banking Group.

Chris earned his B.S. from the University of Richmond, cum laude, and his M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated as a Director’s List student.

Chris is originally from Cherry Hill, NJ. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their two sons and two daughters.
