William McKee Jr.
Managing Principal, COO, and CCO

Bill joined Graham Partners in 1990 and serves as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, and Managing Principal. Bill, along with the other Managing Principals, shares responsibility for all major aspects of Graham Partners’ investment process, including investment sourcing, structuring, and exiting, as well as working closely with portfolio companies to build lasting value. Additionally, Bill oversees many aspects of Graham Partners’ operations, including business assessment and the negotiation of, and compliance with, all major agreements affecting Graham Partners and its affiliates. He also serves on Graham Partners’ Investment, Gating, and Valuation Committees.

Bill has primary oversight responsibility for Abrisa and HB&G. His past and present board directorships include Abrisa, Dynojet, Eldorado, HB&G, NDS, and Schneller.

Prior to the formation of Graham I, Bill was integrally involved with corporate development activities relating to operating interests held by entities associated with The Graham Group – working on M&A transactions completed in Italy, France, Canada, the United Kingdom, Poland, Brazil, and Argentina, as well as major financings, risk assessment and negotiation of many operating contracts and joint venture agreements. Bill also played a key role in the negotiation and structuring of the divestiture of a controlling interest in Graham Packaging Company to Blackstone.

Prior to joining Graham Partners, Bill worked for Bear Stearns in its Investment Banking Division.

Bill attended Drexel University and Oxford University (Corpus Christi College) and earned his B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, magna cum laude.

A native of the Philadelphia area, Bill is a big Flyers, Eagles and Phillies supporter. Bill is an avid golfer and is on the Board of Kids on the Hill, a charitable organization that works with the Police Athletic League to bring the game of golf to under-privileged youth.
