As a food industry technology expert, Dave has over 30 years of experience in product development, strategy and cost optimization. He currently provides technical and business consulting for food industry manufacturers and ingredient suppliers.
As Vice President of R&D with Perdue Farms, Dave led research and development in support of Retail, Food Service and International businesses, delivering over $4 million of cost savings in 2011 through reformulation and process optimization. Prior to Perdue, Dave held various management positions with Aurora Foods, Conagra, Kraft Foods, and Pepsico, where he played key roles in product development and cost savings. Notable brands Dave supported include: Duncan Hines, Lender’s, Log Cabin, Mrs. Butterworths, Aunt Jemima, VandeKamps, Mrs. Paul’s, Celeste, Banquet, DiGiorno Pastas & Sauces, Miracle Whip and Philadelphia Cream Cheese.
Dave earned his B.S. and his M.B.A. from the University of Minnesota. He is currently a member of the Institute of Food Technologists. Dave’s philanthropic involvement includes Habitat for Humanity, where he is on the board of directors and serves as Treasurer.
