Bob Isaman*

Chief Operating Partner

Bob joined Graham Partners as Chief Operating Partner in 2020, where he leads portfolio operations. He works closely with the Investment Team, Operations Team, external industry experts, and portfolio company management teams to drive financial, operational, and product development performance at portfolio companies.

Bob is a seasoned executive with a demonstrated record of driving revenues, profits and cash flow in $300MM to $55B private, public and PE backed industrial technology companies. Bob joined Graham from Kohlberg & Company, where he worked as an operating partner and served as CEO, Executive Chairman, Chairman or Board Director for a number of portfolio companies. Bob’s expertise is in building businesses by expanding geographically, accelerating product development, deploying lean manufacturing, and developing customer-focused sales and marketing strategies. Before Kohlberg, he served as CEO and Board Director of Stolle Machinery, a GSO / Blackstone portfolio company, where he was responsible for global profit and loss, strategic direction, board interface, debt and equity structuring, and more. Bob has held executive roles at several other companies throughout his career, including Terex Corporation, United Technologies Corporation, and Otis Elevator Company. Earlier in his career, Bob served twelve years (active and reserve) with the U.S. Army Special Forces and is a lifetime member of the Special Forces Association.

Bob holds a B.S. in Marketing from University of Maryland, Smith School of Business. He went on to earn his M.B.A. in International Business from The George Washington University.

Outside of the office, Bob enjoys spending time with his wife and family, hiking and traveling. Born in New York and raised in Maryland, Bob has visited over 100 countries.
