Joel is a proven executive leader with expertise in strategy, operations, and human resources. Joel is the Founder and Managing Director of Cardinal Business Solutions, a consulting firm with expertise in change management and business process transformation. He currently serves on the Advisory Council for Graham Partners portfolio company, DTI.

Previously, Joel served as President of the LORD Corporation (part of Parker Hannifin) for four years, where he achieved record sales and profits, transformed global operations, and managed a cross-functional team across nine manufacturing plants and three engineering centers globally. Before LORD, Joel spent three years as CEO of Calstar Products, Inc., where he was recruited to lead expansion initiatives. Joel has held several other executive roles throughout his career at companies like CertainTeed, James Hardie Building Products, Hilti Group, and more.

Joel earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Princeton University, his M.S. in Petroleum Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, and his is a Sloan Fellow from the Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.
