Internship: Private Equity Fund Reporting

Graham Partners, a Philadelphia area private investment firm, seeks a motivated Fund Reporting Intern to join our Fund Reporting team. This internship provides hands-on experience in fund accounting operations, financial reporting, and investor relations within the private equity industry. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and has a basic understanding of accounting principles.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Assist in preparing quarterly fund financial reports, including statements of partners’ capital and unfunded commitments.
- Assist in capital call and distribution processing, ensuring accurate calculations and timely execution.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
- Maintain general ledgers and record transactions related to fund investments
- Participate in month-end closing activities and journal entry preparation.
- Organize and maintain financial reporting files/system.
- Communicate with investors regarding capital accounts, calls, and financial statements.
- Conduct research on financial regulations and industry best practices as needed.
- Assist in ad hoc accounting tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
START DATE
