Portfolio Company Becklar Acquires Dynamark Monitoring
Graham Partners (“Graham”), a private investment firm targeting advanced manufacturing and technology-enabled services businesses, is pleased to announce that its portfolio company Becklar, LLC (“Becklar”), a provider of critical event monitoring and emergency response solutions, has acquired Dynamark Monitoring (“Dynamark”).
Headquartered in Hagerstown, Maryland, Dynamark is a wholesale monitoring provider with a focus on the fire & burglary market. As one of the largest independent wholesale monitoring providers, Dynamark works with a broad dealer network to serve approximately 145,000 end subscribers across the United States. Amid a broader shift towards the outsourcing of critical event monitoring services, Graham believes Becklar’s acquisition of Dynamark will allow the combined business to better serve its customers while adding additional monitoring capabilities on the East Coast.
Graham’s investment thesis for Becklar is focused on expanding Becklar’s robust critical event monitoring platform (underpinned by its proprietary AI monitoring capabilities) to new customers, geographies, and end markets. Graham believes the acquisition of Dynamark will accelerate the company’s expansion in these areas.
