Rik Jacobs

Professional Bio:

Rik brings over 30 years of global food technology experience to Graham Partners’ portfolio companies. He brings expertise in areas such as packaging, retail management, sourcing and marketing to the entire food value chain.

Currently, Rik is a consultant to international clients and serves on the Advisory Council for Graham Partners portfolio company, Mercer.

Previously, Rik was CEO / COO of SunOpta, Inc., a publicly listed, vertically integrated, natural and organic foods company with revenues of ~$1.3 billion. Prior to SunOpta, he held a number of international sales, marketing and management positions with companies such as Tetra Pak, North European Cluster, PepsiCo, Royal Dutch Ahold and the Coca-Cola Company.

Rik received his B.B.A. from Oregon State University and his M.B.A. from the American Graduate School of International Management. Originally from the Netherlands, Rik currently lives in Toronto, Canada and enjoys sailing, traveling and cooking.
