Brand brings over 20 years of experience in the asset protection space and served for over 11 years as a Field Artillery Officer in the U.S. Army. He currently serves as a Senior Consultant for PERFORM Alliance, a retail strategy consulting firm, as well as a Principal at Elverston Consulting, LLC. He also currently serves on the Advisory Council for Graham Partners portfolio company, Gatekeeper.

Previously, Brand spent 21 years working for Walmart, where he held various loss prevention and asset protection roles. Over the years Brand has presented at countless conferences around the world on topics ranging from corporate strategy and technology to leadership principles and industry trends.

Brand earned his B.A. in criminal justice from the University of Alabama and went on to earn his M.B.A. from Oklahoma State University.
