Professional Bio:
At Graham, Lizzie leads the firm’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG) program that seeks to create shared value for Graham Partners’ investors and other stakeholders working across its investment portfolio and internally within Graham Partners. In this role, Lizzie is responsible for managing the firm’s ESG integration efforts across investment processes. Lizzie’s main areas of focus include implementing a systemic approach to assessing the firm’s businesses’ environmental impact and determining the impact a changing environment has on those businesses’ risk profiles; developing strategies to reduce environmental risks at both the firm and portfolio company levels; and driving communication surrounding progress on all ESG activities.
Previously, Lizzie spent four years at Quantis, a Boston Consulting Group company specializing in sustainability, where she co-led the U.S. Food & Beverage practice. She advised private equity firms and Fortune 500 companies on ESG strategies to manage risk, enhance resilience, and drive growth. Prior to Quantis, Lizzie supported an early-stage startup focused on employee engagement and organizational performance and spent three years with the Massachusetts state government as a Regional Planner, where she helped craft a 30-year strategic plan for a more sustainable Metro Boston region. She also completed a nonprofit leadership fellowship with New Sector Alliance.
Education:
Lizzie holds a B.S.E. in Civil & Environmental Engineering and an M.S.E. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan.
Personal:
Originally from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, she now resides in Northampton, Massachusetts, where she enjoys cycling, coaching Ultimate Frisbee at Smith College, gluten-free baking, and annual family trips to northern Michigan.
