PHILADELPHIA

Graham Partners, a private investment firm targeting technology-driven advanced manufacturing companies, is pleased to announce that it has acquired Teamvantage. Headquartered in Forest Lake, MN, Teamvantage is an outsourced manufacturer specializing in clean room injection molding, precision machining, and assembly capabilities primarily serving the medical device industry. Teamvantage supports an attractive base of medical device customers and is a trusted one-stop shop, providing in-house design, engineering, and technical expertise from initial development through full-scale production.

Teamvantage is Graham Partners’ fourth healthcare investment since 2018, following the acquisitions of Medbio, AIM Plastics, and Polymer Conversions. Teamvantage was sourced on a proprietary basis through Graham Partners’ Investment Theme Program and was identified as an attractive investment opportunity due to a number of strong underlying growth drivers, including an industry-wide conversion toward outsourced manufacturing in the medical device sector, as well as conversions toward minimally invasive surgical procedures, disposable products, and plastics.

Joe Heinmiller, Managing Principal at Graham Partners, stated, “Graham was attracted to Teamvantage’s niche market position and differentiated offering – the business has a strong focus on materials science and engineering, which cements its position as a value-added partner to its customers.” A.J. Rossi, Vice President at Graham Partners, said, “We look forward to supporting Teamvantage’s strong growth trajectory as we continue to build the business into a premier outsourced manufacturer.” Teamvantage owner, Ray Newkirk, added, “Graham was the perfect strategic fit for Teamvantage due to their network of industry relationships, operational expertise, and track record of healthcare and defense investing – I’m excited to work alongside Graham Partners while continuing to hold an ownership stake in the company.”
